I phone slow down

We are all familiar with this story. I wonder looking forward what this story could imply for electric cars. £7000.00 for a battery what is this all about. Then I read apple has just reduced an I phone battery from $79 to $29, quite a reduction! I am sure one of this sites experts will enlighten me.

In London where so many houses don't have a drive it is more difficult to charge electric cars.  There are some charging points on lampposts but the chances are that someone else will be parked there and quite often cars parked in the street aren't moved that often. There was an interesting front page article on chiswickw4.com where someone with an electric car was explaining how more charging points weren't being put in fast enough.  Apparently a lot of them although visible on an app tend to be out of action and most people need/want fast charging.  They can also be expensive.  Andy Pease also has an electric car and doesn't find charging it easy.

Hydrogen cell cars are and always have been cutting edge. For some strange reason they seem to be being played down. I was to a man who was filling up with gas at a garage. He thought it was great.

https://www.which.co.uk/news/2018/01/apple-facing-lawsuits-for-slowing-down-older-iphones/Many cars nowadays are bought on finance agreements.  I think this is one reason why you don't see so many older cars around.  After several years you can get several options including entering into a new agreement for a newer car. Electric cars must have the capacity to be updated/improved more than most - although I thought that hydrogen cell cars were supposed to be more cutting edge now.
