Parklife at Dukes Meadows

Is this now finished? Any news?

Tend to agree with that comment Paul.  Parklife sounds far too commercial an enterprise for Dukes Meadows - all those hundreds of extra people.  The logistics of moving them safely and easily in and out would have been a major undertaking on its own with the limited public transport facilities, road space and parking facilities.  The Meadows and entire surroundings would have been changed beyond all recognition.

Something of a relief? The area's infrastructure wouldn't have been able to cope with the extra traffic that a Parklife centre would generate. It also seems perverse that the FA would be backing a scheme that seemed likely to undermine a successful grassroots football club.
