"Free web pages for local groups": FoBM ?

From the front page..on the right hand side..you can open the item on "Free Web Pages for Local groups"Listed there is a website for "Friends of Boston Manor" but if you click  on that link...you finish up on a website in the USA!I have already written to the Editor..probably a week ago....so this a  a further..hopefully helpful...report. Hope I haven't mis-read the matter.

"There used to be the most wonderful rose beds in the garden; are they still in existence?"Hopefully, I will find some time to visit the gardens soon ..and take the camera.  There doesn't seem to many photos of this Historic site...I mean  of the stables and outhouses..and the pond etc. Well not in cyberspace anyhow! I gather that a lady called Janet..is the expert..or one of several in the team.  There are several historical wizards around the Borough...best to meet them perhaps at the History Society meetings.

Jim,We lived in the 1960s flat roofed houses beside the park, so it was our recreational area - two kids, dog and me!Yes, I've been inside Boston Manor House;  wrote a small  article on it for our in-house magazine at Soag's.There used to be the most wonderful rose beds in the garden; are they still in existence?

Ann: I recall that you once lived just along the Road from this "nearly" 400 year old Manor.I once use to play lots of football in the grounds for Old Meadonians..and we used some ancient changing rooms in the stable area. But..never been in the House. What a poor cultural record I have! Its the gem of Brentford..or one of them.Did you ever manage to venture inside? Neil obviously has.. Anyone else....GB where are you!!?

I have just logged on for the first time in a while and am a little concerned that there appears to be a problem with the link to FoBM, particularly as I have heard from a few people who have linked through from the Brentford TW8.com site.  I will ensure that the person who deals with the Friends of Boston Manor Site is aware of this problem but hope that the problem is elsewhere and that some techno could sort it out.  Now look to my response to Duncan Shepherd.  Thanks.
