Has Labour washed its hands of the Isleworth Ward?

No Candidates to be seen, no canvassing going on Old Isleworth, haven’t seen any posters or boards about, no red troops on the ground, no one’s got a good word to say about them. just a few leaflets here & there.Do you think they are prepared to sacrifice this pain in the ar - e ward after 4yrs to regroup in their other more compliant enclaves.Or are they just plain complacent?

Perhaps Isleworth Ward will wash its hands of Labour as it did when the ICG was around. There have been no effective Cllrs in Isleworth or Syon or Brentford since the ICG.

I believe that at the last election the Worton Estate was pretty solid for Labour but that was due to Lynn GreenI honestly dont think that many actually vote on the Ivybridge compared to how many live on it

It could be because I've not been out so much but there does seem to be a distinct lack of activity from what I can see.  Just across the border in Syon we've had a fairly nondescript leaflet and a card from Labour and nothing at all from anyone else.  No canvassers, although maybe that is because we are known.My mother in Isleworth has had a bog-standard Tory leaflet (potholes and Council Tax) which took her letterbox off its hinges but nothing else, again no canvassers or anything.I have seen some Lib Dem canvassers at work in Isleworth, but that's about the extent of it.Wonder what the turnout is going to be like?

1 board and one window sticker spotted - we have had two grubby little leaflets from Labour - no canvassers except Tories very early on before they got rid of some of them! I really hope not all parties think this ward begins and ends with Ivybridge but it certainly does look that way.

I think they assume they will get votes even though they cannot even be bother to ask for them. I hope it will be like Scotland. I little be of local pride and independence, and neither the blues or the reds will win.
