They have an allotment.  There are usually opportunities to share available.  Have you actively looked to share someone else's allotment?  Although everything becomes difficult when "managed decline" has been put into place.  That modus operandi is a very sad state of affairs that we should all be aware of and fighting against.

All the more reason then to sign the petition to stop the Duke of Northumberlnd building on the allotments in Park Rd. Many at present neglected and overgrown as the estate refuses to let them, as part of their 'managed decline' to try and re-enforce their argument to develop the area.

I have been trying to get an allotment for 11 years, but the waiting lists are closed!Theoretically, I would be very happy to contribute, but if I cannot even get onto a waiting list, I hope you will understand that I am not especially supportive!
