Something I'm only too aware of as on Monday I was due to fly back cattle-class (i.e. Ryanair) from Bratislava to Stansted and I noticed on my phone that our plane from Stansted was only taxiing on the Stansted runway as we were supposed to be boarding !.Took me 12h 20m door to door from central Europe to West London via car, plane, train and nightbus - should have been home around 23.15, got home at 02.50.Not Ryanair's fault as much, apparantly a lack of ground crew at Stansted. But we were told nothing at Bratislava aiprt until an ohur after our plane was supposed to have taken off - the only person spreading information was me because I'd checked on my phone long before departure.First time I've flown to or from Stansted in several years and it will be the last - I'll leave it to the likes of Wayne & Waynetta Slob on their annual mecca to Benidorm...
