Police helicopter last night

Anyone know what was going on last night around St Paul's Park? Saw police cars, helicopters etc.. Just wondering.

The reason that helicopters , police cars , vans etc, have numbers clearly visable on them is due to some naughty police offers in about 1986/7 beating up some youths after jumping out of a police van in London , Seven officers were jailed and a new requirement for all police vehicles to be clearly identifiable was born.

We have been disturbed twice in the past week by the helicopter.  The noise is very loud and there is a 'boom' from it that you cannot escape from.  An occasional visit overhead by the helicopter is reassuring - but this frequently, it becomes a genuine worry about night crime in the area.  It is also a bl**dy nuisance to have this noise added to the relentless others which keep us from our sleep.  Jim is probably safer trying to have a kip during the day and giving up on to sleeping at night...?
