Parking Suspensions
It’s great to see huge film crews using parts of Brentford again.What isn’t good is the fact that we pay the council to park our vehicles in parking zones and that same council suspends that parking zone to rent them to the production crew. And we don’t get refunded or compensated in any way. Surely a token sum should be redeamable from Hounslow council for a lengthy suspension? Naturally councils have to get revenue from all the sources available but this issue, along with parking fines to residence for all sorts of reasons equates to ´wallets on wheels”.
