High street regeneration

Does anyone have any idea when demolition work or any work is going to start on the Ballymore development? The site office has been built, Natwest has moved out, all looks good to go. I've emailed Ballymore but got no response. I heard July is the start date. Anyone heard anything?

t's all to do with the interminable legal wranglings with the current unauthorised boaters.We had hoped this would be resolved by now but there are continuing appeals and a few of the boaters are holding out.The legal system is extremely slow (see Dickens, Bleak House: Jarndyce v Jarndyce)

Thanks Gut. Somewhat similar question - there is a new ugly fence along all the way of the river in Watermans Park. What's the plan there - is the fence going to be there long?

Some demolition has happened (round the back). There are still businesses and residents in place - my understanding is that it's likely to commence in the autumn.I'll try and get an update.
