If you value your parks and open spaces..........
With LB Hounslow under huge pressure to develop open spaces for new housing, you may want to take a few minutes to complete the online survey below. The more evidence that Hounslow parks and open spaces are loved, enjoyed, well used and worthy of continued investment the better, so every survey response counts.Hounslow Council: Open Space StudyHounslow Council has instructed Knight, Kavanagh & Page (KKP) to carry out an open space assessment in the area, which will result in the production of borough-wide Open Space Strategy. It will involve carrying out a comprehensive audit and assessment of the supply and demand issues for all open space typologies (e.g. parks, allotments, children’s play areas). The assessments will identify local need for provision within Hounslow and will serve as the key evidence base that will inform future strategic planning and any investment priorities for open space across the area.It is therefore important for Hounslow Council to hear your views by completing the survey (found in the link below) by 30th July 2018.https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/info/20096/consultations/1883/have_your_say_on_green_spaces_in_hounslow_-_ends_monday_30_july_2018If you require any further information on the above study please do not hesitate to contact Amber Lomax at KKP on 0161 764 7040, or Danalee Edmund, at London Borough of Hounslow Council at Danalee.Edmund@hounslow.gov.uk
