New to Green Dragon School

Hello! My family and I recently moved to Brentford from the States, and have 2 boys attending Green Dragon Primary School in September. I’m still learning the area, but I would greatly appreciate any feedback regarding the school. Also, I’d love to volunteer in a Parents group, if there is one. Cheers!

Hello. There is sometimes a lot of change of teachers at the end of the academic year (can’t speak for this year as we’ve recently moved away) but this isn’t an issue solely related to GD, from what I understand it’s a London wide issue. We had children at GD for five years and on the whole we loved it. I mean no school is without issue but for us school isn’t solely about the academic aspect, it’s aboit creating well rounded individuals that thrive in various areas and for us, Green Dragon is very good at that. There are some amazing people on the PTA and they create events that the children love.Good luck, I hope your children and you are happy there.

A parent wrote to me recently as follows:"After Floreat announced it closure my daughter transfered to Green Dragon and i couldn't be happier. The welcome and care she got to settle in was amazing. The headteacher and teachers everyday welcoming the children and parents, when they arrive and leave, alone with this gesture they are creating a stronger community."Can't really add to that!
