Well done John on having the guts and sense to forestall the hiving off of Feltham Assembly Halls under the guise of a 'single member decision' by Cllr. Samia Chaudhary.Not only was the decision taken during the 'purdah' period which was dubious enough, over 800 people from other community groups petitioned about a 'lack of transparency' and 'favouring one community group over another'. There were also accusation of the Labour group deliberately trying to 'win votes' for various questionable reasons.Thanks to John and the other councillors who signed the call-in this nasty attempt to pull the wool over local people's eyes was thwarted.
