I'm acquainted with the bloke at Hampton as, at the personal recommendation of a QC, I was brought in to act on his behalf with his planning issues a little over 3 years ago.I terminated our professional relationship within a couple of months, the media descriptions of him being something of a 'character' are an understatement, in the end I had no faith or confidence in his arguments. Rather bizarrely his response to that was to claim that I'd been 'knobbled' by Richmond Council and that I was in cahoots with their Officers etc., I don't know if the QC who brought me onto the case persisted with it for much longer, but knowing the QC as I do I'd be very surprised if he did.Back to the matter at hand though, whilst I didn't see whatever was on the news recently my point is that that the Hampton Riviera saga has been going on for years, as I say I was involved in it during late 2014/early 2015 and it had already been rumbling on for several years before then. And believe me, legal matters relating to moorings, river beds etc. are an absolute minefield.
