Circus in Isleworth
We took the kids to Santus Circus in Thornbury Park this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids particularly liked the acrobats, the laser-show and the motorbikes. We did our best to clap along and cheer, but quite honestly there were moments when I could only stare in amazement. Sure, the Big Top looks well-used and a little travel-worn, but the acts are great - and it's a small, family-run circus where it's clear that everyone mucks in. That means you're quite likely to recognise the performers as the people who were selling programmes or popcorn before the show. Recommended, anyway - as long as you're hard enough to resist your kids' repeated demands for candyfloss, balloons and popcorn!!
