If the music dictionary was in perfect condition, it would suggest that nobody or very few people read it.I good question would be what balance should a library have between hard to find but rarely read books, versus very popular books? With most of the world's information available on a computer or phone these days, thinking about why we still have libraries is more important than ever. The last time I visited a library and borrowed a book was about 25 years ago, so I am not best placed to answer that question, but I am very interested to know who still uses them and why (other than providing a 90% subsidy for music dictionary purchases)?
