Simon Have you read the West London Waste Newsletter that I've posted on the website.Maybe you could get some inspiration, ideas and back-up from what they are doing. Sometimes ideas just need to be tweaked.

I didn't mean that Simon. What I meant was that you are not allowed to leave your things on the pavement or to fly-tip. See Vanessa's post. Don't many charities and associations eg PTAs hold auctions of donated goods to make money for their associations? They also hold auctions of promises. I don't think these are run by registered auctioneers.
Technically you can’t run an auction unless you have a registered auctioneer.

Well I was just going to mention Simon and the Table Sales that he often flags up on here.Jumble Trails are also a good way of responsibly selling your own unwanted things since you have to find something else legal to do with anything that you don't sell.
