One of the best comedies on TV, Clearly the waters must have grown up in Brentford as they have nailed it on the head. In the first series all the little nuances are there, The 65 E2 and E8, the gunnersbury schoolkid kicking a can along the pavement, the dodgy little places tucked away, the bastion of local businesses and shops that ( did ) remain, the flats, homes and facilities.It might not be to everyones taste but it documents a Brentford that has its strongly identifiable solid ordinary community which is now being ebbed away with the changes in demographics and the increase in people moving here on a less permanent basis
