I am loving my High Street shopping!

I have had excellent service in a variety of shops in the run up to a Christmas, and now in the sales.  How about you?

No we went by train - now I know why people complain about the service! Would absolutely NEVER again go to Kingston by car.

Vanessa.  That was me waving and cheering as I exited the car park having done my shopping, while you were in the 45 minute car park queue ...JL had marked down and were selling sale furniture well before their main advertised sale.  Not seen that before.  ;) x

I am a dedicated non' retail therapy' person - re-enforced by a reluctant trip to Kingston to visit John Lewis before Christmas, that was three hours of my life I'll never get back. I hate bloody shopping, so have to say doing it online is a boon, if I didn't have to do it at all I'd be even happier! I actually bought stuff in two shops locally and that was my lot.

The chocolate shop has been there for at least three years. Bianca Martin, yummy chocs, and I think she runs workshops as well.

James.  I shop mostly out of Borough.  I do however use Morrison’s and I will miss it when it closes.I shop at Kew retail park (lots of easy free parking).  Kingston, parking in John Lewis.  Staines parking in the open car park by Wilko or Next.I must say that there appear to be some nice shops opening in Brentford.  Has anyone tried the chocolates from the chocolate shop at Brentford lock?

Agreed Sarah.I buy as few things on line as I can, certainly no clothes or shoes and usually get very good, polite and cheerful  service in whichever shop I look in.I think what some people do,which is go into a shop and try several pairs of shoes or whatever on, and take up shop and staff time just to see how the item looks just so they can order it online for a few quid cheaper, is rank bad form.
