What is going on?
As an avid and frequent library user I have used the online reservation and renewal system for years, about six weeks ago I couldn't access the service at all and kept getting a warning notice about someone getting my credit card information via the library website? I was advised to take a screen shot of the message and give it to one of the staff at my local library which I did. Before the Christmas break the same thing was happening, so I again took a screen shot and handed it again, I was told that I wasn't the only one this was happening to and who had complained and that it was being worked on and sorted. I wish - I have just tried to renew my books and nothing has changed. According to the latest 'Hounslow Matters' "you can now do business with the council 24/7" - except with the library service it seems, or is this another problem with an outsourced service?
