Brentford Market

Its great to see that the market has started again though when I passed yesterday there was only a very small handful of stalls and no customers but why did they not advertise they were reopening?Their Facebook page was confusing as well with the date

I believe the farm food stall has now taken over the licence for the market. It seems the exercise has been very worthwhile for them and the did not want to see it closing. I'm hoping to see a lot more vibrancy in the High Street come the Spring, which should help the market to survive and thrive.

I had a delicious lunch - Indian vegetarian - at the market yesterday. Apparently they had been serving an earlier 'breakfast' version. The women running the stall said that they weren't doing too badly so hopefully they will return. I can't say how the other two stalls were doing but as they were the ones who have been there continuously one assumes it must be worth their while. I hope so, at least.

I don't think it ever fully closed - there have been a small number of stalls open for a few weeks now.
