Brentford - where is it?

I was a little bemused today to get a flyer through the door for Comedy at The Griffin billed as being In Brentford (North Kew).Whatever, the comedy is upstairs at The Griffin, Brook Road South, Brentford TW8 0AP on the first Friday of the month starting at 8.00p.m.Free Entry

I looked through the window of a Brentford estate agency yesterday. One property was listed as being in the 'sought-after Brentford Village'. I was impressed.Having no shame, I went in and asked a (charming) chap where this sought-after area actually was, since I'd never heard of it. He told me that it comprised the roads around Griffin Park, due to the 'village-like' atmosphere. Turns out I already live there.

Yes, ASDA and Tesco both say they are in Twickenham when geographically they are both firmly in Isleworth, makes you sick all this inverted snobbery.
