Morrisons have appealed against the planning inspector's refusal of their appeal against planning being granted.Don't know when the appeal will be heard but as I understand it they are on a minimum of 6 months notice from their landlords, currently I believe Essential Living, after that.Whether EL will want to carry on with the scheme is debatable - there has already been a delay of over a year whilst the appeal was heard and private rented sector developments are no longer so fashionable.Whatever you think of the approved scheme for Morrisons, one of the reasons local councillors voted against it was the timing, and the potential lack of a store whilst the new bigger replacement was being built. Shuttle buses won't cut it.The delay brings Ballymore and their store closer, plus there have always been hopes for a temporary store and there are some discussions about that.
