Not sorted yet Sarah...and I've yet to hear again from the Royal Mail..so I plan to talk to them next week.Years ago, my PO Box used to receive about 10 sacks of mail a day...some times as high as 36 sacks! The Isleworth delivery Office used to work overtime to cope with my activities!! Amongst the mail used to be a lot of missorts...so most days I was returning sacks of mail back again! When PO box mail is not collected because (say)the addressee is out of the Country for 3 months, or he wants to collect it himself occasionally, it follows that any missorted mail thrown into those sacks or pigeon holes..is going to stay there smoldering unless someone at the Delivery Office twigs that missorts are being hoarded. My case was worse. I have paid for some 20 years for the mail to be delivered..and whilst recently..nothing was received..it didn't trouble me till the Smiling Mayor's Appeal. Following my complaints recently.. 800 and 100 day old mail of mine was discovered...and other 150 day old mail for other people..including a cheque from DVLA!Thats all I can say for the present time. SAopme I'm intersested to know about the missorting that still goes on.. especially amongst bulk mail to firms..which may not get checked by the postman before he walks up the driveway.
