Kingfisher at Brentford Dock

It was a great delight this morning to see a kingfisher flying upstream along the north bank of the Brent to the south of Johnsons Island and the Brewery Tap. I suspect that, like me, it had come to have a look at the new car park in Dock Road and, being thoroughly dispirited, it was heading back upstream as quickly as possible.Has anyone else seen kingfishers along this stretch? I have seen them north of Brentford Lock but never this far downstream.

Yes I recently saw a kingfisher on the canal between the railway bridge and the Great West Road.

I lived on a boat on the river behind The Ham for two years and a Kingfisher was always flying up and down the river past my boat.
