Travellers invade old High Street Car Park

Reports that around 20 vehicles now parked up in the old High Street Car Park.  They broke in, closed the gates and secured them with a heavy bolt and chain. I saw several of the youths causing trouble in Morrison's yesterday - be wary if out and about today.

There are plenty of true-blood Romany traveller groups who still adhere to their values and lifestyle although it is becoming more difficult for them due the actions of the 'travellers'.Diddycoys are shunned by the true Romany the term is applied to a despised minority.

The true 'traveller community' does not break into sites, act like feral scum and leave detritus behind including human waste for others to clear up.Their actions in Ealing alone last year cost over £600,000 to clear up.Ask the good people around Ealing Common how the attempted burglary and burglary rate spiked when these 'supposed travellers' invaded Ealing Common.let's call them what the true Romanys call them 'Diddicoys' who bring the reputation of the true travelling community into disrepute.

Appreciate no one wants these travelers setting up camp near them.  However, these travelers choose to be just that, travelers.  Where exactly are they permitted to park and stop?  How do their children get an education?  Do they receive any monies from the State, if not do they have jobs earning a proper wage, or do they have to thieve and take unauthorised rubbish to dump in order to earn a crust?  I'm just curious.  There must be rules and regulations which these travelers refuse to comply with.

Yes, a group of them are now occupying a site on Welstead Road Chiswick (just off Chiswick High Road).

There are a no. of caravans and cars parked on Kew Green - can't imagine why.

Trouble is trespass is a civil offence (which they are clearly all committing) and can only be controlled via a court order applied for by the landowner.Breaking and entering is criminal but the only one(s) who is guilty is the one(s) who broke, which is hard to establish. Even if you could identify a culprit, the rest did nothing criminal following in so we're back to trespass.I believe a court order was granted to Ballymore yesterday and there were loads of enforcement officers there at noon when I passed by, so maybe they are out by now (of course, they may pop up somewhere else)

The injunction would have made no difference in this case as it only applies to public spaces and the car park site is privately owned by Ballymore.However, if they forced entry, as has been claimed, that is trespass and a criminal act irrespective of an injunction.It is now time for Ballymore to exercise their rights and get the feral scum (I don't mince words as their actions are loathsome) evicted.

Ealing now has a Borough wide injunction against 'travellers' using public spaces, and Hounslow doesnt YET

“then there Is a potential fine of £400,”There is a ‘potential’ but that’s as far as it goes. How many environmental criminals in Hounslow are actually fined £400?  I asked and was ignored so I had to apply for the figures under FOI Act. That was ignored too but eventually I received the excuses that the FOI dept was short staffed because someone had left. It is strange that Ealing is able to evict trespassers quite quickly but Hounslow isn’t?

If Hounslow Council catch you dropping the tiniest bit of litter then there Is a potential fine of £400, will the travellers be charged anything for depositing tons of rubbish, unlikely?!These are vile dangerous people, beware.

If they broke in then that is trespass, yet another criminal offence, but it does make them easier to evict.
