What are the council going to do with the Small Mansion in Gunnersbury Park?
The Small Mansion Arts Centre is in Gunnersbury Park, has been for 21 years. Ealing and Hounslow councils have decided it is time to terminate the lease, just when the art centre had plans to expand. Over 200 local artists go to classes every week. What do you think or care about this.Bit unsure as to the motives of the council - they want vacant possession. Longterm strategy for the buildings and the park so that they can find a more viable use. the Rothschilds left the park and buildings for the community. Rumours fly about commercial uses - casinos/hotels/conference centres - who knows!
