London Bombs What a sad day

my aunt was on the kings cross train today and trapped on the underground for many hours with many wounded people and some that passed away she decribed to me the horrific injurys and burns she witness after trying to contact her for many hours lucky she was unhurt but very shaken and upset,She said that people were trying to break the windows with their bare hands as there was no air and lots of smoke.  What a horrible day for many people its so sad this day and age that were not safe on london transport.Debbie

Debbie,What a horrible experience for your aunt and hope she is feeling better today.I was working near St. Mary's Paddington and Edgware Road Station yesterday and hearing sirens going all day was a terrible reminder of what had happened.Prayers and thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones and all those affected physically and mentally by this atrocity.Caroline

My best friend works in a building were the bus exploded it took her 4hrs to get from holborn to get home which usally takes a hour but she is home safe and not going into work today.but we must not stop using public transport and giving these evil people what they want...

hi kim and jim i thought every body was quite calm on the telly though and the emergency services were fantastic i hope no one else we know was caught up in it.debbie

It was awful. Its only 15 minutes away from us and we listened to the radio all day. It just felt sureal. What sick animals can do this to innocent people.How great the way everyone rallied round to help though.

Debbie,Yes ,what a sad sad happening..and like many others I have felt glum all day...feeling for those involved..and those affected.What a shock for your Aunt..and to think that that Piccadilly Line train was on its way  our area too..(Acton Town etc)..and that 21 people were killed on it.
