Good Luck with that!
On the front page is the news of a 'consultation' of the council's 'event strategy' re parks use in the future. All I can say is Good Luck if you wish to take part. The problem - as they have been told already about the 'Thriving Communities' consultation is the un-fathomable online form. The problem is that you can read the whole strategy document, then when you try to give your views on the consultation pages you will find that you are being asked questions about specific pages/paragraphs which necessitates going back to find that particular part, then you go back only to find anything you may have previously answered has been wiped out! Me and a colleague have both tried twice with both of these consultations to no avail, and as we had previously reported the difficulties with the first one to officers from Hounslow you can imagine how nonplussed we were to see the same daft system for this latest consultation. I doubt anyone could read a strategy document and then recall specific lines/pages enough to comment. Unless Hounslow can put this glaring fault right, there can be no proper consultation.Do these people never test these things before launching them with such publicity? And what do they propose to do now - to make this latest farce meaningful for people who actually care and would like to participate?
