Polling Station

Please check your polling card as there are two new polling stations in Brentford. Yes they are shown on the card but except for one person all others I know just put it in into a draw with out looking My own station for 44 years was Green Dragon School now its Mission Hall and I know the church hall in Clifden Rd is closed so where the new one is I don't know. Please check.

Thanks Marilyn and David. David pointed this out to me yesterday and I have raised with council officials that they need to reinforce communication about these changes and ensure comprehensive signposting is in place.Elections in the depths of winter (last general election was 1923 but by-elections happen) have a very poor record for voter turnout so we don't need extra discouragement of voters who can't find the polling station.Everybody should try to vote early (not often :)) because you may not feel like going out in the evening and this might be the most important General Election for a while.
