Brewery Tap Pub is now open
The Brewery Tap re-opened last Saturday under new management. There is regular music similar to previously.The pub has been refurbished, is looking nice and clean with with no major changes. The old grotty carpet has gone, chairs and seating is all recovered, walls re-painted, pool table and darts have now gone, tables re-polished, replacement piano, a small stage built, with good provision for music. My favourite Jazz band, Phil Brown’s Swingtet, starts playing regularly every Thursday again tonight. The new landlady Annie is doing well running the pub with her son Merlin, who runs the Vintage Car company Duke of London at the industrial buildings at the back of The Tap. One More Time played on Tuesday, Friday nights will be an Open Mike night. It's looking good.It’s well worth a visit.
