I remember the British Rail days, do I want them back? No way it was a disaster as it would if it was nationalised

Strange how a few very capable and electable Labour MPs have not even emerged since the election.  I wonder if history is repeating itself in the party.The next leader will be a Neil Pinnock, turn it around but remain unelectable then a John Smith/Tony Blair type leader with electable wide appeal will emerge once all the infighting and dirty work is all out of the way.Trouble is it still retained the culture of nose in the trough and cronies.That needs purging in more than a few places.

The problem is that there are no outstanding candidates Vanessa.There was a commentator on Radio 4 (name escapes me) who said that (to paraphrase) 'Labour's next PM isn't even in the House of Commons yet, such is the dearth of talent available'.

I can only say I think RLB is a silly cow - who obviously isn't on receive, if the Labour party choose her it'll be like Christmas all over again for the Tories.

Which, like every other manifesto 'committment' he had absolutely no idea how to finance.I had to chuckle yesterday when Rebecca Long-Bailey spoke of how 'proud' she was of his 'delivery of a challenging set of objectives' and scored him '10/10'. He delivered nothing and, were I a Labour Party member, I would be very wary of anyone who considered his tenure as Labour leader as anything other than a disaster.If that's the best that Labour has to offer prepare for decades of Tory government.

Oh! Never mind the management who couldn't run a booze up in the proverbial - the one decent idea Corbyn had was to re-nationalise the railways.

The truth is though that the trains will NOT be OMO but will still have a second member of staff. It is the role of this second staff member that is causing the issues.

They now have 10 carriage trains. Biggest problem is the RMT who refuse to budge over one man trains. Thameslink use the same type of train which was designed for driver only. These are safe. London Underground is driver only. Can't see a problem.

This was also in Surrey news last night. One of the new goals will be honesty. All the promises of a wonderful service, longer trains. What happened?
