Thank you, dog owner...

... who has allowed your hound to do an enormous, wet poo on our front gate. Were you thinking of coming back to clear it up?

If you know where the dog and owner live report them . They will receive a letter stating they will be fined and they are being monitored

Sadly, I am intimately familiar with the by-product of foxes. This wasn't it.If this item had emerged from a person, I'd say that their problem was greater than mine.

Being on a bend in the road, it's not the first time I've dealt with, er, dog pats. This was, however, the first time one has virtually been left on our property. It's quicker and easier to just hurl water at it and swoosh it away into the gutter. (Ugh.)

Yes many dog owners take the responsibility far more seriously than many child 'owners' these days.

May have been a Fox or as many in Albany Road have endured for many a year, a Human.There are a lot more dogs as the next best accessory to a child, locally, but the vast majority of owners take the responsibility quite seriously.

Use the FixMyStreet web site or app to report it. Only takes a few seconds and I've found the response time generally quick.If it's any consolation I'm pretty sure it was worse in the past.

Who knows the source of the Mystery Poo? I can only say that I wish it was the first time I'd encountered a Turd du Jour outside our house - but it was the first time that one actually encroached upon our property. The sad thing is not just that your thoughtless dog owner will have a reminder of Fido being a good boy - everyone else will too. I'm really, really not anti-dog at all (some of my dearest friends are furry and bark at postmen) but it's just so revolting to allow your pooch to defecate and not to... well, give a poo.

Normally the dog does it’s business shortly after leaving home, so no doubt it is one of your neighbours, unless you are next to a park where somebody drives then lets the dog out of the car.What I don’t understand is some dog owner, and probably one of my neighbours along the street, has carefully bagged up some poo in a doggy poo bag, and left it under the tree where the dog dropped it.  We don’t get street cleaners and plastic doesn’t rot so every time they go out for another walk they will walk past it.  Need somebody to perfect doggy DNA and human finger print checks on the bag.

Hahahahhahahha I'm not laughing at the dog doing that, or the owner leaving it, but seeing the phrase "arse activity" to describe it has made my day! Haha bless you. Yes it is disgusting, I prefer dogs to people most of the time, but if you're responsible enough to have a dog, you should damn well clear up after it!

I have dealt with it - buckets of water set it flying into the gutter, which is only *just* better than being on the actual pavement.Look, I like dogs. Waggy tails make me smile. But if you're going to have one (particularly in a city), for crying out loud take responsibility for its arse activity. The dog hasn't done anything wrong but, by not clearing up after it, you absolutely have.

I have noticed since Xmas more dog poo than ever. Where ever I walk never seen so much. Once again I believe it comes back to no enforcement. But with only 26 officers to cover the whole of Hounslow.
