Holy Spice

Six of the people in our little apartment block have now been to this new restaurant and all have been really enthusiastic. The food is prepared from fresh ingredients (so they are bound to run out sometimes) and everything we had was really tasty. It's also reasonably priced - much cheaper than Leda which used to occupy that spot by the canal. Well worth trying. We'll be regulars and it's great to see a restaurant this good opening amidst the redevelopment chaos in Brentford.

We tried Holy Spice the other night and found the food well presented, with attentive staff but the food was a little bland and lacked flavour, also quite expensive with a service charge added for just 2 people, will say the onion bhajis were excellent, best I have had in a long time!

Went there last week and the Food and service was really nice.I little nervous perhaps so finding their feet, but the quality and presentation of the food was really good.  Surroundings really pleasant.

Have been there at lunch a couple of times but unfortunately they don't do curries then.  Had a curry delivered (to Chiswick) last night and it was really excellent.  This will be my go to Indian now and believe me I have tried every Indian for miles around.

We thought we'd order a delivery from them last night; sadly, we were unable to do so. (Frustratingly, Albany Spice is at the end of our road but - despite repeated attempts - we just don't enjoy their food. Holy Spice's menu is not at all interesting, but we hoped it would be nicely-cooked and appetising.)In the end, we ordered from Zayka in South Ealing, a recommendation from a friend. Again, not a particularly exciting menu, but really delicious.

They need to leaflet Brentford with an introductory offer. I fear they will fail, their location by the bridge is poor.

This is a restaurant that deserves to succeed because it is offering an innovative approach to Indian food. But unless it does a fantastic job on marketing and promotion it will struggle.  The lunch menu is wrong as it does not include a curry.  I have been twice for lunch and I was the only one there both times.
