Isleworth and Brentford Area Forum meeting Wednesday 5 February at West Thames College Isleworth 7.30.p.m. in the Music Room.Among the topics are the proposed cycleway outside the Isleworth Public Hall and the moving of the bus stop, as well as the proposed road through Syon Park. There is time allowed for the public forum to have your say.

The proposed cycleway for Isleworth and which has been the subject of a consultation exercise and much criticism where it will run outside the Isleworth Public Hall, was approved by councillors last night. The figures from the consultation showed 39% of consultees supported the proposal with 54% against! Shades of Church st. all over again - what is it that our elected members don't get about democracy? Why do they waste their money on these farces if they think they know it all anyway?
