Can I expect an automatic response when sending an email into traffic at LBH?

How do I know if it has been received?  I previously wrote that a neighbour, after pursuing his email, was told they hadn’t received it because it had gone into their spam mail.  I have sent 2 requests for the Northumberland Estate CPZ report and had no indication as to whether they have received either of them.  Do I send a third request, just to make sure?

Somebody has been sent a copy from the Zecs office, I think.  Which I can now look at.  Hooray!  Why it was not attached to the letter received last Saturday, with the report, and a breathing space for us all to check it, is beyond me.  Hey ho.

I am still waiting to see the current CPZ map for the Northumberland Estate.  I need it to confirm a blind corner being designed into a road, and general road issues which rear their heads as I drive around the local roads.  If the blind corner is there, then I can ask the local Police for advice, as whoever is designing these maps appears to be out of touch with how the roads are being used.One issue now showing up, only because they are going ahead and putting the bay markings down, is the turn from Wood Lane into Musgrave Road, which should surely be improved.I cannot get an acknowledgement of my requests so don’t know if the spam folder is in use.  I did get a copy of the report I requested, after writing to lots of the influencers and asking if somebody could swing it for me, but the map still remains a working mystery.Maybe it is time to clarify whether this department has an active spam folder, a way of blocking people from replying to consultations or a way of working that is just plain rude.So, could you consider emailing traffic@hounslow.gov.uk and request that they release copies of the up to date working map to anyone who requests a copy?  It would be interesting to know if you receive an acknowledgement email, or if you are just left wondering.The letter we all received last Saturday was from a Martin.hempell@ hounslow.gov.uk.  His email address doesn’t reassure me that he receives his mail either.  Never done this before, so I will tell you if I receive the map.Kind regards,Sarah

No automatic response, Guy.  Had to send another request for the current working map for the Northumberland Estate, again today.  No response.  I did get a copy of the report, yesterday, using the first email I sent on Sunday, so they did get that one.  The map is still missing.

Whenever I email traffic I get:"Thank you for your email. A member of our team will respond within 10 working days."Martin.hempell@hounslow.gov.uk is a working address

Still not received either the requested report or an acknowledgement so I know when to expect a reply.Maybe they have gone in the spam folder?  If I were in a position to ask I would actually challenge whether a Council is allowed to have a spam folder as it is the equivalent ( to me ) as having a shredder next to the post desk or the bar tender in the local who could be asked to put it in their bin.  I once caught somebody putting a wodge in their handbag.  Same difference.

2 emails sent in to the contact email address and no hint that they have received either, and no report received.  I put together what might be the direct email address of a Martin Hempell who is named as a contact but without a personal email address, just the same traffic email address that may or may not be receiving emails. No acknowledgement so I am guessing it may or may not have been received.Why can’t there be an acknowledgement of receipt set up for office email accounts?
