The Bill
I find some of the soap story lines which are beamed into the family living room well before 9pm very questionable. Tonight we have been treated to early evening trailers of the distress of a Policewoman reporting herself as a victim of rape. Tomorrow nights episode is going out at the normal time of 8pm.In the case of The Bill I remember a story from a local primary school when a PC visited a young infant class. The PC asked the class what the Police did. Hands shot up - and one little voice replied 'they break windows'. When the constable replied that they didn't do that - he answered - well they do on The Bill. What age range do they think are watching these story lines? What is the point of the Watershed?
