Beggar looking for cash and a bus ticket

I've heard from a contact who lives in Regatta Point (along Kew Bridge Road) that a well-known beggar has been seen in the block knocking on flat doors for cash-  for a bus ticket to visit his dad in hospital.Same story as before - variations of this routine have been current in Brentford and Chiswick for years.He was escorted off the premises and reported to the police.White 5’10” medium build with a short stubble beard and moustache. Last seen wearing a green hooded parka. Be careful out there!

Nicholas Beard In England unless you are accepted as a patient at a hospital you currently won't be tested for COVID-19. So someone who is 'escorted off the premises' from a block of flats won't be tested. And to be accepted as a patient at a hospital at the moment you have to be pretty ill.

Door handles should have cleaned. If COVID19 was detected then a deep clean. Paths should have been sprayed. I have seen on television streets being sprayed in other countries but not here.

If a beggar had got into the flats and anybody had answered their door I would have thought it raised questions re COVID 19. EG door handles etc.
