Barclays

I opened an account with them sometime last year when NatWest left Brentford. I'd been with NatWest nearly 40 years. I have to say, Barclays aircon is brilliant and their staff are lovely. They are our only surviving bank, I think. Please keep them here by using them!

Used Barclays today walked in notice at door only three at a time you can't miss the sign staff still friendly and welcoming as always, opened my account when l was 18 now 76 keep themin Brentford by using them not just the atm outside

The air con was probably put in before covid 19. Most big corporations have laid people off. I have been into this bank and found it very civilised.

"I have to say, Barclays aircon is brilliant and their staff are lovely."Beware of Aircon and Covid-19 spread. Aircraft aircon is relatively safe. Building aircon isn't. It needs very regular servicing and maintenance. I wouldn't trust it in large corporations especially when so many staff have been furloughed or laid off.

Not much has been learnt. The Parking charges imposed several years back set the rot in on trading and the first businesses started to go. The the 30 min free period staved it off.What is being planned now will simply pick up where the myopic initial set up left off and probably kill off any viable chances for local commerce altogether.It really is local authorities and land owning operators of sites that do more damage than good with ideas that whilst idealistic for one issue are detrimental to a much more important one, a non-dependent populace.Stuff up commerce and opportunity and there won't even be enough revenue to support those who fall foul of it

It's vital that the plan for Brentford continues to include the same (or more) free 30 minute off-street parking. Otherwise convenience shops - old and new - will also fail.

Most of Northfields and South Ealing customers now use this Barclays.  If the roads get stuffed up it will probably reduce the footfall further and this will also close.
