TracyThanks for your kind words. No, I don't expect an apology. The Labour Party in these parts has never done humility. They seem to regard it (like honesty) as a weakness. But it is not only me who requires an answer/explanation, it is the electorate. We reported Labour's track record of deceit and dishonesty in some detail on a leaflet and in a booklet distributed to 4,500 doors in Osterley & Spring Grove recently. Whilst Labour will still no doubt manage to drag out their "mug" vote, there has been a real reaction against them in the ward and most people I speak to seem to share our view that a concerted approach to unseating them at next year's local elections is now a necessity. Most reassuringly of all, I have encountered several voters who are abandoning Labour for the first time as a result of the revelations and supporting our candidate.Far from the matter going away, Labour can give up any hope whatsoever of being serious contenders in Isleworth next May until they are prepared to face up to the consequences of their actions.
