Come on Bees!

Three games to go, 3 points behind WBA who have to play Fulham this week. Will the mighty Bees go up to the Premiership in second place? Very exciting! Come on Bees! :oD

Do I remember it?I should have stayed on the 83 bus and gone straight past Wembley; total capitulation.That said I contend that the playoff performance versus Stoke in Cardiff was actually worse.  If I never hear Delilah sung again by 30,000 Stoke City fans, I will be very happy.

Does anyone remember the Crewe game? About 20 years ago. I was there. Never seen Brentford play worse. If, but some means, wed go up, it will be great fun having Liverpool, Chelsea, Man C etc visit us every other week. I think we should enjoy the ride, whatever happens.

Oh yes, we were at the Yeovil game and I remember it so well. The Bees had a bad attack of stage fright. At least there will be no crowd this time.I must get the sofa in position for Tuesday evening - I think that I'll move it a yard or so from the wall so that I can hide behind it.Promotion would, I believe, be worth about £180 m. and if they come straight back down there is the parachute payment. Can the Bees hold on to Benrahma, Watkins, Mbeumo etc.?C'mon you Bees!

We'll buy a Sky sports day pass for the Wembley final. We were there the last time and really disappointed when Yeovil scraped past us. But having gone up to the Championship they then crashed down to the 5th level! I know it would mean a cash bonanza but not sure I want regular thumpings from Liverpool etc.

A Section 35 dispersal zone has been authorised for the roads immediately surrounding Griffin Park for tonight. Guess they want to avoid crowds outside the ground should the Bees win automatic promotion.

This was a vital game for Stoke as well, as winning it saved them from relegation.

Being a North End fan I know exactly how thwarted expectation feels.It's a shame the Stoke players were trying to win the game as well.Just have to keep our fingers crossed for the right sequence of results.

Just looked like they did not want to win, a completely different team to the one that has played with total purpose since the restart but quite well just before the pause. But not unlike the Brentford of old.Just why is it they keep falling at the final hurdle?I've lost count of the amount of times this has happened over the decades.This was the biggest game in 60 years and should have been winnable but not playing like they did, way below what they know they are capable of.

Okey dokeyIf Brentford win their last game and West Brom lose or draw theirs then Brentford are promoted.If both draw their last games then West Brom are promoted.If Brentfors lose their last game then West Brom are promoted.If they do not get automatic promotion then they go into a two-leg play-off 'semi-final' with the team that finishes 4th 5th or 6th.If Brentford finish 3rd they play the 6th placed team if 4th they play the 5th placed team.The play winners then meet each othe in the play-off final at Wembley.

Well Huddersfield did us a real favour betaing WBA.Brentford have to win at Stoke tomorrow and take a point from the last ever game at GP next Wednesday to guarantee Premier League footie next season.

Even if Huddersfield beat WBA tonight we staiil have to beat 'bogey team' Stoke (I remember the heartbreak trip for the play-off final in Cardiff) tomorrow. Then it's probably down to the final game of the season.Bloody COVID-29, we are guaranteed a play-off spot and no one will witness it live.

I really hope that at least one proper game gets played at Brentfords Griffin Park.In any case how can the new stadium have been crowd tested as claimed?  It had not happened before the lockdown.But for the final game or games to be at Griffin Park in the Premiership would be just about as perfect a goodbye as one could dream for.But the hard work is on the pitch, Go for it Bees and do your best!!

Unless Forest can win their reamining three games with a goal difference of 32 then only Fulham can overtake the Bees on points.We just have to win those last three games and hope that the Baggies slip up.

With their huge goal difference they only have to equal WBA on points and they are up, assuming no other club overtakes them.
