Foxtons management
We left a house managed by Foxtons five months ago.We were informed yesterday (yes, five months later) that we had to pay for a new shower pump in the house and this was yet another reason that our deposit could not be returned. One of the original deductions was for the replacing of light bulbs in the house, and the cost for this was £223.26, yes £223.26.We are now going to court over this, as this behaviour to me seems tantamount to theft. We have been shown no invoices or estimates at all.Does anyone have any similar experience or advice about the best way to proceedIncidentally we rented through Fletchers before and received our full deposit within two weeks of leaving the house.
