Update Shivon

Dear allI just thought I would give you all a update on Shivon!!She is back having Chemo again after having 6wks off she has lost her hair again.She is still on her food drip!!She is at West Midd now having a blood transfussion but she is doing great...I have sent off my 2 choices to do my sponsor jump my first choice will be 29th sept or my 2nd chance will be 6th October.But anyway Shivon is well and i will keep u all informed!!Thanks to you all you hae sent her Get well cards and gifts..Simon anderson

I just want to say a HUGE BIG THANK YOU to all the Doctors and  nurses that took care off her these 2 and half years from G.O.S.H and Starlight Children's Ward at West Middlesex, Both Hospitals do a fantastic job for so little pay and without them children like Shivon wouldn't get better so i feel that the government should pour more money into the things that are more important and that's the NHS.

Just to let all you that like to hear how Shivon is getting on..last week she ended ALL her treatments and now is in remission.She has had her portacath out of her chest and has now just got to go to West Middx every 6mths for the next 2yrs.So all is great so far..

I am sorry to those who emailled me ysterday asking how Shivon was, But I just recvd some bad news that my Great Uncle had passed away after years off fighting cancer!!But she is doing great!!ThanksSimon

I will post the event on our forum on our website and put it on our next Newsletter..I am glad ur little girl is getting better its hard having a sick child.Its really hard for me as I am on my own so I have not many people I can talk to that understand what I am going threw, I have another daughter with a heart condition aswell!!But we can only be there 4 our Child and help them get better and be brave 4 them!!Why dont you place something about the Halloween party on this and chiswick forums people are very generous on here!!As to tv's I have donate 13 now (but only one combi) but at least its a tv for the kids hey?Take care and I really do hope ur little one makes a full recovery and if u nd 2 chat anytime please email me on private email.Simon

hi simon she getting a bit better thanks still having trouble with the breathing im worried to take her out so be in for 2 weekshope your little one gets better soon.im doing a halloween fancy dress party at the old fire station wine bar brentford 28th october  8-late tickets are £5.00 if you know any one who might want any please let me know im raising money for west mid baby unit and starlight would like a tv combi so hoping to raise as much as possibletake care Debbie

Hi debbieShe isnt in starlight ward at present but has spent alot off time in there due to catching infections she is the one always in room 9 at the end!!She is home at present she was at starlight on Monday eve to have blood transfussion and goes up there to have injections aswell so she is a reg up there.Sorry to hear about ur little girl how she doing?Give her my love and hope she gets better soon.Simon

Good luck with the jump Simon.I did a few when younger and it's a real buzz.Don't worry,if you listen to the instructors you will have no probs...(it's only the last foot you've to worry about anyway;-))....Where are you jumping at?I was at Headcorn in Kent.Have a great day,I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Yes, Simon and well said Jim.I really cannot support you in jumping out of a plane (sons tell me that you will be piggy backed, and it is all very safe).  Instead we hope that Shivon enjoys the bag of presents.  It must be difficult keeping her occupied and going at times, let alone what you are experiencing, watching on.All the best.
