Anti-LTN demonstration.

There is a march starting at Blondin Park tomorrow at 3pm for those interested.Though not strictly a Hounslow issue at the moment as far as know,the policy does affect many locally and may help to send a message about the strength of feeling if it is well attended.LB Harrow have altered their version of this draconian and badly thought out plan after objections from the public,so fingers crossed.See you there I hope.See the Ealing Today home page for more info.

It was a fantastic demonstration. Huge credit to the organisers. What was notable to me was the overwhelming support from passers by, bus drivers and motorists along the route! We need to keep the pressure up against both Ealing and Hounslow councils!

Stood and counted at Corner of Northfields and Uxbridge road.4,825 and I missed some.  People from all sorts of backgrounds - even cyclists! Does that not say how we all resent being manipulated by politicians and their insane policies?People really resent this type of divide and rule and attempts to run a harmonious and solid local community by their insidious methods by and have clearly been pushed too far.If Mr Bell and his cohorts still press with their righteous and sanctimonious attitude then they ought to to the righteous thing and all resign as unfit to represent the  electorate. And campaigns honestly and openly on what the heck they are doing to this town and borough honestly and openly.

I live on the border of Ealing. This effects me in every possible way so I shall be there in numbers. Also, Harrow has folded, Ealing next, then Brentford. It is in the interest of us Brentonians to support Ealing's march. See you there.

The only way to stop the Council doing whatever they like and ignoring residents’ views is to stop voting for them in the elections. The woke folk of Chiswick, Brentford etc vote Labour no matter what nonsense proposals they come up with.Vote for change or stop moaning!

I'll be there, although it may be optimistic to expect any Labour administration to react to public opinion - the last national government were happy to ignore a million people who marched against the Iraq war, and continued to prosecute an illegal war in our name.
