Remember in September E10 will be in most pumps. E5 will still be available but the price is expected to increase. It seems a good idea to check your car to see if it is E10 compatable.

Indeed, it can go 'sour' in as little as 60 days in a car's fuel tank. The car will have starting issues if any fuel is left in for too long. E10 appears to be more susceptible.

E10 turns some braided and rubber and composite fuel lines into a goo which fouls injectors and carburettors in older vehicles.It also goes stale very quickly so if you only use a vehicle on occasion it will refuse to start or run properly.Many Ethanol Safe fuel lines are turning out to be far from that so only the very latest fuel lines are possibly OK.
