Johns &Co ..24 hours in Brentford. What about Syon Park?

Just been reading the post dated 30th June, from the new estate agents. Yes, makes for interesting reading, and highlights some of our local attractions, but misses out on one very important attraction - Syon House & Gardens? There is indeed a photograph of the majestic Syon House, but with information underneath about the beautiful Kew Gardens! Maybe Johns &Co, need another walk around Brentford?

Clearly a marketing exercise. More people know Kew Gardens than Brentford. Very few people would even wonder about history. I myself grew up watching Brentford and then read The Kings England and Pevsner. You often see pictures of Strand on the Green, not Brentford Thames side.

I agree. Kew Gardens not in Brentford but can be seen from across the River Thames. Johns the estate agent within Barrymore hasn’t done any favours to Brentford in it’s marketing. Pictures of other parts of London and young models. Nothing about Brentford’s history and numerous Gardens and open spaces , squares  not lanes. Promote Brentford not Chiswick Kew or Richmond.

We noticed that in the Ballymore pics you can be any colour and any age - as long as it's under 40. Covid hasn't wiped out all of us oldies.
