Boston Manor Park

Anyone else had the letter from LB Hounslow about the works here?  According to this the works on the house and grounds are due to start soon.  As someone who lives very near the park I can honestly say the works to the house have been going on for well over a year and works to the grounds as we all know have already caused a lot of concern. But it does give the points of contact for the builders/gardener etc.

We got a letter about this. I thought it showed a lot more thought and attention to public engagement than some of the previous BMP communications. Hopefully they have learnt from the "minor PR disaster" last time!

Work is starting on the lake in mid October.

There is a site about the work. I put in work on Boston Manor Park. It seems the lake will recieve attention, and the walled garden, also the restaurant. There is a space to put in your e mail and receive updates.

Pat, I haven't received the letter as I don't live close enough to the park but there is a notice on the board in the park which I think contains the same information as the letter you received. I understand the work will begin next week and will be going on until the end of next year! I sincerely hope they are not planning to work on the pond until later in the year as there are so many ducklings, young coots and cygnets around at the moment.
