BRS plastic collection missed again!

Yet again, our plastic recycling hasn't been taken. We're careful and everything is clean and not contaminated  - nothing in there that they haven't taken before. We've also noticed that our neighbours haven't had theirs collected either.I went online to report a missed bin, but was informed that 'Our crew haven't visited your property yet' - which they have, because a) they woke us up and b) everything else has been taken.Does anyone understand? We don't!

Worth remembering that waste volumes are still considerably up on pre-pandemic levels so recycle 360 have been using extra crews to deal with excess volume, though that is mainly cardboard.Leave tops off plastic bottles. The compactors aren't powerful enough to pop them so the plastic compartment is often filled with a lot of trapped air!

Random as I only noticed here and there and was out for a jog rather than a street inspection!Must have been a full truck or maybe a fault on one of the compactors but just seen another crew doing the rounds in Brook Rd

Cathy, we spoke to the wheelie bin men when they arrived. They didn't know much, but thought that there might be another van coming before the end of the day. Raymond, the 'randomness' concerns me. If it was everyone, that would at least suggest that there was some meaning to it.Anyhow, we'll wait until the end of the day and - if no joy - it's back to the LBH website.

seems to be in several roads I've just walked around near St Paul's rec. Red boxes seem to be randomly unemptied.

They've just been along Braemar Road and left every plastic/tin recycling container full.  I shouted after the team why they weren't collecting any plastic/tin, but got no reply.  I'll wait until 5pm just in case another team comes along - you never know - and then report.
