We came from Richmond council territory 6 years ago. That yo-yo'd between Tories and LibDems for the 40 years we were there and LBH have been so much better, in what is a very diverse area. Whatever they do, there are Tories saying childish things about apartheid, Taliban etc. They also face a torrent of abuse from the minority of people who still believe in the freedom to drive dirty cars anywhere, anytime. We use a mix of car, rail, tube, bus, cycling and walking and think LBH are getting the balance right, with lots of consultation. Look up 'air pollution deaths uk' and the top result is 'About 40,000 deaths in Britain each year are linked to air pollution, found a 2016 study by the Royal College of Physicians, a professional membership body, and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, a charity.' ULEZ and more space for walking and cycling are excellent ways to improve everyone's health, especially the young.
