BRENTFORD AREA CONSULTATION
The latest HM magazine issue has waxed fulsome over the results of the public response to the consultation over Brentford's future development:BRENTFORD AREA CONSULTATION RECEIVES A HUGE RESPONSEThis summer’s consultation about the variety of options for the future of Brentford generated a tremendous response, with more than 230 questionnaires returned - representing more than 12,000 views on the proposals. It's all how you look at the figures I guess, but how does "more than" 230 people represent a significant proportion of Brentford's population? The article interprets this as representing more than 12,000 views on the proposals, - presumably based on each questionnaire containing around 50 questions? We can't blame the Council altogether for the paucity of response, but it does seem a little silly to pretend that it was "huge" and "tremendous"!
