Car sofa - Front page Councillor Lambert weekly update.
‘I really fancy that car/sofa (apparently the lights work when you plug it in) ‘Reminds me of the ‘car sofa’ I followed on the A316 - somebody had built a sofa with a standard lamp and pot plant which drives as a car. It looks amazing and I am sure it had passed all its roadworthy certificates as it drove at normal car speeds along the Chertsey Road. The only thing the people who gave it those certificates didn’t do was factor in the trail of near misses it caused other cars and lorry drivers who spotted it, as they ALL did a double take….. Anyone else seen it?
